About Engle Realty
Engle Realty is a real estate company that is located between the LSU and downtown areas of Baton Rouge. Engle Realty's primary purpose is to assist buyers and sellers of real estate in residential sales in a capacity that is greater than they could have had they not had the professional real estate services that Engle Realty renders. Engle realty also assists renters and landlords in certain capacities.
Engle Realty agents are real estate agents and are designated as REALTORS®. REALTOR® is a designation for a real estate agent. All REALTORS® are real estate agents, but not all real estate agents are REALTORS®. To be a REALTOR® a real estate agent must attend educational classes as well as commit to follow and adhere to the REALTORS® code of ethics. This code uses the Golden Rule as its main premise, that REALTORS® should "do unto others as they'd have them do unto themselves." Another key distinction of REALTORS® from other real estate agents who are not REALTORS® is that REALTORS® have access tot he Multiple Listing Service (also known as the M.L.S. or MLS).
What is the Multiple Listing Service? What is the MLS?
The MLS is a system of information that allows a real estate agent to know what has and has not sold in the past as well as know what is currently up for sale. The MLS gives an agent very detailed information on each property. FSBO listings are not listed in the MLS generally, but sometimes even FSBO listings are listed int he MLS. The MLS is a system that only real estate agents who are designated REALTORS® have allowed access. In other words, the public do not have access to the MLS system. The MLS is a key tool that Engle Realty agents utilize in order to price their seller client's property accurately, not too low and not too high.

Licensed: Engle Realty is licensed to help other buy, sell, and rent houses, condos, multi-family apartment complexes, commercial real estate, land, in the entire state of Louisiana. While Engle Realty agents are licensed to do business in the entire state of Louisiana, Engle Realty specializes in the Baton Rouge area. More specifically, most of their business is in the LSU and Downtown Baton Rouge areas.
Insured: As mandated by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission, each agent of Engle Realty maintains Errors & Omissions insurance, a requirement when doing real estate in the state of Louisiana.
Locally Owned and Operated: Engle Realty is a local Baton Rouge Real Estate company, not a franchise of a nationwide company from a different state. Engel Reality started the first branch of Engle Realty in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Enlge Realty is committed to the Baton Rouge community.
About the Broker:
David Engle, broker of Engle Realty, has been a real estate agent since 2006. David is an LSU Alumni and LSU Tiger fan, and so he knows what LSU students are looking for. David has a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University. He majored in English with three minors: Speech Communication, Asian Studies, and Chinese. Besides speaking English, David Engle is a Mandarin Chinese speaking real estate agent. An interesting fact about David is that he has an identical twin brother, named Daniel who is also a real estate agent in Baltimore Maryland. David was born in Lousiana and has lived in Louisiana since, so he knows the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas very well. He thoroughly enjoys helping others buy, sell, and rent real estate. He can relate to those who have bought their first home, and he strives to make these types of purchases as easy as possible for the buyer. He also knows how it is to sell their own personal house, and the work that needs to be done in order to make it ready to sell. He understands how to buy investment properties, land, apartments, houses to turn around for a quick profit known as "Flips", commercial properties, and 1031 Exchanges as his clients have participated in all of these ventures before. The accomplishment of helping others obtain their personal, business, and lifetime goals is one of his goals as a real estate broker.

What the Engle Realty Logo Means:
The Engle Realty logo resembles a house and the bottom is a lower case "e" turned sideways. The "e" stands for Engle. The blank space of the "e" forms a door and a window.
